About Mrs. Clark
I am very excited about this coming year! This will be my first year teaching kindergarten, however, this will be my 15th year teaching with 12 being here at Doctors Inlet. I have taught grades first through fourth and I am ready to spend this year loving on your children, teaching them while I am sure they will teach me a few things as well, and having fun while doing it all! I have always loved the little ones and have loved seeing how their minds work. I love that they are little sponges and wanting to learn even more than what you thought you would need to actually teach them.
A little bit about me...I was born and raised in Jacksonville and still live in Jacksonville with my husband and our eleven year old daughter. I graduated college from the University of North Florida with a bachelors degree in Pre-k thru Third grade. I started teaching in Duval County for three years teaching first and second grades. I came over to Clay County in 2006 to teach first grade. Since then, I have been moved around to second, fourth and then had been teaching third the last four years. I was ready for a change out of FSA testing grades. So here I am!
I love spending time together with my family while going to Wild Adventures, Orlando and just hanging out at the house. My daughter loves playing fast-pitched softball year round so we stay pretty busy during the school year living the softball life. I love being a softball mom since I loved playing as a child as well. We love to watch DIY and HGTV together as well. When I have time to plan ahead and cook, I love it! I love coming up with my own "concoctions" with basic recipes. I love cooking mexican casseroles, hot wings, anything pasta related, and grilling out any meat.
